The KP-5HA-45 is a high performance symmetrical horn antenna with a 6 dB beamwidth of 45°and a stable gain of 16 dBi over an ultra-wide bandwidth of 4.9 GHz to 6.4 GHz. The horn antenna’s symmetrical radiation patterns was optimized using advanced genetic algorithm techniques to have significantly reduced side lobes that rapidly drops below 30 dB outside the main beam and a minimum front-to-back of 38 dB. This highly suppressed side lobes and superior front to back allows for channel (frequency) reuse and can reach high levels of spectral efficiency in the most challenging and noisy environments.
The KP-5HA-30 horn antenna’s compact 10” diameter conical form factor and highly focused radiation makes it ideal for high-density deployments and filling in coverage alongside wider-angle sector antennas. The polarization is adjustable between horizontal/vertical and ±45° slant, making the horn compatible with any 4.9 GHz to 6.4 GHz single or dual polarization 2 x 2 MIMO radio and eliminates the risk of link strength degradation due to polarization mismatch.
Rugged and weatherproof, the KP performances horn antenna provides a durable platform built for a broad range of environments and feature a heavy-duty UV-resistance plastic radome for all-weather operation. The powder coated, high-strength aluminum horn and mounting brackets is built to withstand wind speeds of up to 100mph and survive in corrosive environments with large swing in seasonal weather not impacting performance.
